Quality and safety
We take pride in the superior quality of our products and conduct rigorous checks to ensure all the products we sell meet our high quality standards.
After we pull them from the water, our oysters are depurated for at least 48 hours using ultraviolet light to eliminate potentially harmful contaminants like e. coli, salmonella, and vibrio.
We package them at the depuration facility and deliver them in a cooler truck so they remain refrigerated until the moment we deliver them to our customers.
We recommend keeping all raw oysters packaged and refrigerated (4-6ºC) with the concave side facing down and the flat side up until you're ready to open and enjoy them.
When stored properly at a constant temperature, oysters stay fresh for 7 to 9 days. Discard any oysters whose shell is open, as this means they are dead and therefore unfit for consumption. Once opened, oysters should be consumed immediately or kept cold for no longer than 1 hour. They can also be cooked.
